But there\u2019s a reason why the McLaren 750S remains one of our favorites.<\/p>\n<p>No, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motor1.com\/mclaren\/750s\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22mclaren%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22750s%22%7D\">750S<\/a> doesn\u2019t come with a seven-figure price tag. In fact, its starting price of $343,000 is almost &#8220;reasonable&#8221; by supercar standards. It also doesn\u2019t rely on a complex hybrid powertrain or a downsized engine. In an era dominated by electrification, the 750S sticks with a more traditional\u2014and arguably more thrilling\u2014formula.<\/p>\n<p>Under the hood is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, a refined version of the engine that\u2019s powered McLaren\u2019s top-tier models for years. It produces 740 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque\u2014more than enough to meet modern supercar expectations. Zero to 60 mph takes just 2.3 seconds, which is damn quick.<\/p>\n<p>Power travels to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the car tops out at an eye-watering 206 mph.
